Wooden Ships, Inc. was incorporated July, 2002 by Domenick Petralia and Joseph Petralia. Their passion for wine combined with years of experience in international brand development and sales motivated them to create a wine company capable of servicing a broad spectrum of clients. Our staff offers these wines, outstanding customer service and unsurpassed delivery to everyone we serve – from the smallest gourmet shop, restaurant or café to the great wine shops of New York City, as well as to distributors across the country!

Wines are carefully selected with the help of Mr. Franco Luisi of Rome, Italy. Mr. Luisi is a renowned sommelier who brings his talent and expertise to our company in each bottle of wine. Together they have created the finest selection of high quality wines known today as the "Monti Rossi" Wines, along with all other wines in their portfolio. Wooden Ships is the exclusive US Importer of all its fine selected wines.

Wooden Ships’ headquarters are conveniently located in Garden City Park, New York. Our fully equipped, temperature controlled warehouse stocks over 10,000 cases of quality wine. Elegant offices are located just above it facilitating a seamless operation.

Clients are welcome to visit our offices’ wine tasting bar where they can sample our selection of wines in a relaxed and professional atmosphere. Our on-premise clients are offered wine list design and development as well as wine server seminars. Our off-premise wine shops are offered weekend wine sampling to their customers. We bring a fresh as well as traditional approach to the wine aspects of their business.

By continually setting these high standards for ourselves, our customers have grown reliant and confident in us and we, in turn, have grown considerably. We feel we are destined to become leaders in our industry.
